drug interaction

With the simultaneous use of norfloxacin, the anticoagulant effect of the latter is enhanced.

With the simultaneous use of norfloxacin with cyclosporine, an increase in the concentration of the latter in the blood plasma is noted.

With the simultaneous administration of norfloxacin and antacids or preparations containing iron, zinc, magnesium, calcium or sucralfate, the absorption of norfloxacin decreases due to the formation of chelators with metal ions (the interval between their administration should be at least 4 hours).

When taken simultaneously, norfloxacin reduces clearance by 25%, therefore, with simultaneous use, the dose of theophylline should be reduced.

Simultaneous administration of norfloxacin with drugs with the potential to reduce blood pressure can cause a sharp decrease in blood pressure. In this regard, in such cases, as well as with the simultaneous administration of barbiturates, anesthetics, heart rate, blood pressure, ECG indicators should be monitored. Simultaneous use with drugs that reduce the epileptic threshold may lead to the development of epileptiform seizures.

What is the drug and what is it used for

Nolicin® is an antibacterial drug from the group of quinolones that destroys bacteria that are sensitive to it and cause diseases in the human body.
Nolicin® is used to treat:
- complicated and uncomplicated, acute and chronic infections of the upper and lower urinary tract caused by pathogenic microflora sensitive to norfloxacin
- bladder infections (including after surgery and accompanying neurogenic bladder)
- kidney infections
- prostate infections (chronic)
- infections associated with nephrolithiasis.

Do not take the drug

If you are allergic to norfloxacin, or any other quinolone medicines, or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in the ingredients section);
- if you have had inflammation or tendon ruptures associated with taking antibacterial medicines (fluoroquinolones);
- if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Nolicin® should not be taken by children and adolescents.

Special instructions and precautions

Talk to your doctor before taking Nolicin®.
When taking fluoroquinolones, including norfloxacin, there were potentially irreversible serious adverse reactions from various body systems that could occur in the same patient. Commonly observed adverse reactions included tendonitis, tendon rupture, arthralgia, myalgia, peripheral neuropathy, and central nervous system effects (hallucinations, anxiety, depression, insomnia, severe headaches, and impaired consciousness). These reactions may occur within hours or weeks of starting norfloxacin. Adverse reactions have been experienced by patients of any age with or without pre-existing risk factors.
Before you start using Nolicin®, tell your doctor if you have the following conditions:
- If you suffer from epilepsy or other disorders of the central nervous system (especially disorders accompanied by convulsions). In such cases, side effects develop more often. Seizures have been reported in patients taking antibiotics such as norfloxacin. Side effects from the central nervous system may occur after taking the first dose of the drug. Stop taking Nolicin® and call your doctor right away if you experience any of these side effects or other changes in your mood or behavior: seizures, trouble sleeping, voice or sound hallucinations, nightmares, dizziness, feelings of anxiety or nervousness, suspiciousness (paranoia), tremors, suicidal thoughts or actions, headaches that do not go away, with or without visual disturbances, disturbances in consciousness, depression.
- Fluoroquinolones, including norfloxacin, are associated with an increased risk of tendinitis and tendon rupture in patients of all ages. This adverse reaction is most commonly associated with the Achilles tendon, and an Achilles tendon rupture may require surgical repair. Tendonitis and tendon rupture have also been reported in the rotator cuff (shoulder), arm, biceps, thumb, and other tendons. The risk of developing fluoroquinolone-associated tendinitis and tendon rupture is increased in elderly patients, usually over 60 years of age, in patients taking corticosteroid drugs, and in patients who have undergone kidney, heart, or lung transplants. Tendon rupture may occur during or after completion of therapy; cases have been reported occurring within a few months after completion of therapy. Stop taking Nolicin® and seek immediate medical attention at the first sign of pain, swelling, or redness in the tendon area, or if you experience any of the following signs or symptoms of a tendon rupture: a sound or feeling of clicking or popping in the tendon area; bruising immediately after an injury in the tendon area; inability to move the affected area or lean on it. Avoid exercise and stress on the affected limb.
- If you have been diagnosed with enlargement or "dilation" of a large blood vessel (aortic aneurysm or peripheral large vessel aneurysm).
- If you have previously had an episode of aortic dissection (rupture of the aortic wall).
- If you have a history of aortic aneurysm or dissection, or other risk factors or predisposing conditions (e.g., connective tissue diseases such as Marfan syndrome, vascular-type Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, Takayasu's arteritis, giant cell arteritis, Behcet's disease, arterial hypertension, atherosclerosis).
- If you have severe kidney failure. Your doctor will evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of using Nolicin® on a case-by-case basis (see How to take this medicine) and will lower your dose if necessary.
- During treatment with Nolicin®, hypersensitivity to sunlight or artificial ultraviolet light may develop. Therefore, it is recommended to avoid excessive exposure to sunlight and artificial ultraviolet light.
- If you have a deficiency of glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase, in rare cases, when taking Nolicin®, hemolytic anemia (destruction of red blood cells) may develop.
- If you have myasthenia gravis (muscle weakness; see section "Possible adverse reactions"). Norfoxacin may exacerbate (possibly as yet undiagnosed) myasthenia gravis, resulting in life-threatening respiratory muscle weakness. Nolicin® should not be used in patients with myasthenia gravis.
- When taking norfloxacin, serious, potentially life-threatening hypersensitivity reactions (anaphylactic and anaphylactoid) may develop, which may occur after the first dose (see section "Possible adverse reactions"). If you notice swelling of the skin, mucous membranes in the face and mouth, you have breathing problems, Nolicin® should be stopped immediately, you should consult a doctor or call an ambulance for emergency assistance.
- Since crystals may form in the urine (crystalluria) when taking Nolicin®, it is necessary to drink enough fluids, especially during long-term treatment, which should be monitored by a doctor. Ask your doctor how much fluid per day is enough for you.
- The occurrence of severe and prolonged diarrhea during or after treatment may be a sign of the very rare pseudomembranous colitis. In this case, treatment with Nolicin® should be discontinued and a doctor should be consulted.
- Special attention is required when taking Nolicin® if you or a member of your family has a long QT syndrome (on an ECG, an electrocardiogram of the heart), with an impaired electrolyte balance (especially with low levels of potassium and magnesium in the blood), with a very slow heart rate (bradycardia), if you have heart disease (heart failure), if you have an acute cardiovascular disease (myocardial infarction), if you are a woman or an elderly person, or if you are taking other medicines that cause ECG changes (see section "Other drugs and Nolicin® ").
- In case of deterioration of vision or any other eye disorder, immediately consult an ophthalmologist.
- If you notice any signs of liver disease, such as loss of appetite, icteric coloration of the skin, dark urine, itching or abdominal pain, stop treatment and consult a doctor.
- If you notice signs of damage to the peripheral nervous system (neuropathy), such as impaired sensory and pain sensitivity, burning, tingling, numbness, weakness or decreased sensitivity to light touch, pain in the limbs, impaired balance and vibration sensitivity, you must stop taking norfloxacin and see a doctor. Nerve damage to the hands, arms, legs, or feet may occur in patients taking fluoroquinolones, including norfloxacin. Nolicin should not be used in patients with a history of nerve problems called peripheral neuropathy.
- If you feel sudden severe pain in your abdomen, chest or back, go to the emergency department immediately.

Children and teenagers

Nolicin contains 12000 FDC Yellow No.6, E110
Azo dye may cause allergic reactions.

Other drugs and Nolicin®

Tell your doctor what medicines you are taking, have recently taken or might take.
- Tell your doctor if you are taking any drugs that affect the rhythm of the heart: medicines belonging to the group of antiarrhythmic drugs (quinidine, hydroquinidine, disopyramide, amiodarone, sotalol, dofetilide, ibutilide), tricyclic antidepressants, certain antimicrobials (macrolides) , some antipsychotics.
- Probenecid reduces the excretion of norfloxacin in the urine, but does not affect the serum concentration.
- If you are taking drugs such as antacids, sucralfate, drugs containing iron, aluminum, bismuth, magnesium, calcium, zinc, then the absorption of norfloxacin is reduced. Therefore, it is recommended to take Nolicin® two hours before or four hours after taking these drugs. This restriction does not apply to H2 receptor antagonists.
- Tell your doctor if you are taking medicines for chronic bronchitis and asthma (theophylline) or medicines that suppress the immune system (cyclosporins). Co-administration with Nolicin® may increase the likelihood of side effects due to a possible increase in the level of theophylline or cyclosporine in the blood. If necessary, the doctor will reduce the dose of medicines.
- If you take drugs that prevent blood clotting at the same time as Nolicin®, their effect is enhanced and bleeding may develop. The coagulogram (prothrombin time and other parameters of blood coagulation) must be carefully monitored.
- Didanosine should not be taken at the same time as or within 2 hours of taking norfloxacin. absorption of norfloxacin is reduced.
- The combined use of Nolicin® and corticosteroids may increase the risk of inflammation and tendon rupture.
- With the combined use of Nolicin®, the effect of certain drugs for the treatment of diabetes (sulfonylurea) may be increased.
- Do not take medicines for the treatment of bacterial urinary tract infections (nitrofurantoin) at the same time as Nolicin®, since the effect of both drugs is reduced when used simultaneously.
Co-administration of quinolones, including norfloxacin, with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) may increase the risk of CNS stimulation and seizures. Therefore, it is recommended to take Nolicin® with caution in patients simultaneously receiving NSAIDs.

Nolicin® with food, drink and alcohol
You can take Nolicin® on an empty stomach or with food. You should not take Nolicin® with milk or yogurt as liquid dairy products reduce the absorption of norfloxacin. Take Nolicin® one hour before or two hours after eating dairy products.
Some quinolones, including norfloxacin, inhibit the breakdown of caffeine, resulting in decreased excretion and increased plasma half-life of caffeine. This should be taken into account when drinking coffee and when taking medications containing caffeine.
During treatment, alcohol is not recommended.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you are pregnant, or are planning to become pregnant, consult your doctor before taking this medicine.
Pregnant women should not use norfloxacin, as there is insufficient information on the safety of the drug during pregnancy.
Do not breastfeed while taking Nolicin®.

Driving vehicles and working with mechanisms

Nolicin® may reduce alertness. You must be careful while driving or operating machinery until you know how the drug is affecting you. Adverse effects may be aggravated when combined with alcohol.

Application of the drug

Always take Nolicin® in full accordance with the recommendations of your doctor. If in doubt, consult your doctor.
The doctor will adjust the dose and duration of treatment in accordance with the disease. Always take 1 norfloxacin tablet with a glass of water or tea. Nolicin® can be taken with or without food. Tablets should preferably be taken at the same time of day. * Symptoms of urinary tract infections, such as burning or pain when urinating, fever, may disappear after 1-2 days. However, the recommended duration of therapy must be observed.
** If during the first 4 weeks of therapy the results of the required level were achieved, the daily dose of norfloxacin can be reduced to 400 mg per day. Currently, there is no information on the duration of therapy for more than 8 weeks.
Patients with impaired renal function
For patients with severe renal insufficiency (creatinine clearance ≤ 30 ml / min.), the recommended dose of Nolicin® is 1 tablet (400 mg) once a day.
Children and teenagers
Nolicin® should not be used to treat children and adolescents.
If you take more Nolicin® than you should
Report this to your doctor immediately. Too large doses can cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea. In more severe cases, dizziness, fatigue, confusion and convulsions. If necessary, symptomatic and supportive therapy will be prescribed and adequate hydration provided.
If you forget to take Nolicin®
Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed one.
If you do not take a dose, take it as soon as you remember, unless it is time for your next dose.
If you stop taking Nolicin®
Take the drug as much as prescribed by your doctor, even if you feel better. If you stop treatment too soon, the symptoms of the infection may return.
If you have any further questions on the use of this drug, ask your doctor.

Nolicin® is the trade name for norfloxacin, an antibacterial agent in the fluoroquinolone class. The drug has a tablet form of release and is produced by the Slovenian pharmaceutical company Krka. The content of norfloxacin in the 1st tablet is 0.4 grams. The cost of packs of ten and twenty tablets in Russian pharmacies is about 200 and 370 rubles, respectively.

Nolicin ® is an antibiotic belonging to the group of gram-fluoroquinolones of the 2nd generation. The active ingredient of Nolicin ® is . Its difference from other 2nd generation fluoroquinolone antibiotics is that it creates significant bactericidal concentrations only in the gastrointestinal tract and genitourinary tract.

Pharmacological group

Fluoroquinolone antibiotics.

What does nolicin ® help with?

The drug Nolicin ® is effective against staphylococci (including methicillin-sensitive strains), gonococci, meningococci, Escherichia, Citrobacter, Klebsiella, Enterobacter, Proteus (including indole and indole + strains), Salmonella, Shigella, Yersinia, Campylobacter, Vibrio cholerae, Haemophilus influenzae, chlamydia, legionella. Enterococci, streptococci, serrations, mycoplasma, mycobacteria, pseudomonads have moderate sensitivity to norfloxacin.

Ureaplasmas, bacteroids, peptococci, peptostreptococci, fusobacteria, treponema, clostridia are completely resistant to the action of the antibiotic.

Nolicin ® - instructions for use in cystitis

Norfloxacin has a pronounced bactericidal mechanism of antibacterial activity, which is realized due to binding to DNA gyrase and inhibition of bacterial deoxyribonucleic acid. This leads to disruption of the process of supercoiling of the microbial DNA chain, its further destabilization and decay into smaller fragments.

Norfloxacin is well absorbed when taken orally, quickly reaching significant therapeutic values in the gastrointestinal tract and genitourinary system. To ensure complete absorption of the drug, it must be taken sixty minutes before or 2 hours after a meal. To reduce the risk of developing undesirable effects from the use of Nolicin ®, it is necessary to consume at least 2 liters of water per day.

Utilization of the antibiotic from the body is carried out mainly with urine. A small part of norfloxacin is excreted in the feces.

The antibiotic is able to exhibit a bactericidal effect against aminoglycosido-, penicillin-, cephalosporin-, tetracycline-, macrolide- and sulfanilamide-resistant strains of microorganisms.

Also, due to the specific structure and mechanism of activity, norfloxacin is effective against bacteria that are resistant to nalidixic, oxolinic and pipemidic acids. Strains of microorganisms resistant to norfloxacin are also resistant to these drugs.

When using norfloxacin, there is a risk of developing cross-resistance to other drugs of the fluoroquinolone series. Cross-resistance develops as a result of mutations in the bacterial genes responsible for encoding deoxyribonucleic gyrase and topoisomerase 4, that is, targets for the action of fluoroquinolones change. Also, in addition to the main mutation, it is possible to change the permeability of the bacterial cell membrane to antibiotics of this group.

Release form Nolicin ®

Nolicin ® is available as a film-coated tablet. The content of the antibiotic in one table. equals 400 milligrams. The original drug is available in packs of ten and twenty tablets.

Composition of Nolicin ®

Each Nolicin tablet contains 0.4 grams of the active ingredient norfloxacin. As auxiliary components are indicated: dyes, thickeners, stabilizers, etc.

Nolicin ® - indications for use

Unlike other fluoroquinolone drugs, norfloxacin creates bactericidal concentrations only in the gastrointestinal tract and genitourinary system. In this regard, Nolicin ® can be used to treat patients with infections of the genitourinary system (including uncomplicated gonorrhea), shigellosis, travelers' diarrhea.

Also, the agent can be used prophylactically, to prevent the development of septic complications in patients with neutropenia.

Contraindications to the appointment of Nolicin ®

Like all drugs of the fluoroquinolone class, norfloxacin is not used to treat patients under the age of eighteen.

Nolicin ® is not used to treat women who are carrying a child and breastfeeding.

Hemolytic anemia, severe renal failure, porphyria, inflammation and tendon ruptures while taking fluoroquinolones, as well as individual hypersensitivity to fluoroquinolones or auxiliary components of the drug, serve as a contraindication to the appointment of norfloxacyan.

With caution, if absolutely necessary, the drug can be prescribed to patients with severe atherosclerosis, epileptic seizures, combined renal and hepatic insufficiency, malignant myasthenia gravis.

Also, care must be taken when prescribing Nolicin ® to patients:

  • with arrhythmias, brady or tachycardia;
  • with a decrease in potassium in the blood (hypokalemia);
  • treated with antipsychotics, erythromycin ® , cisapride ® and tricyclic antidepressants.

Given that norfloxacin can affect the reaction rate, it is not recommended to drive a car and work with dangerous mechanisms during treatment.

Nolicin ® during pregnancy

All preparations of fluoroquinolones are contraindicated for use in women bearing a child. Strictly controlled studies on the safety of norfloxacin for the fetus have not been conducted. In this regard, Nolicin ® during pregnancy can be used only for health reasons, provided that there is no safer alternative.

Nolicin ® with breastfeeding is also not prescribed. If necessary, the appointment of this drug, you should transfer the child to artificial feeding.

How to take Nolicin ® ?

Nolicin ® for uncomplicated cystitis is taken 400 milligrams 2 times a day, in a course of 3 to 5 days. In acute UTIs (inf. Urinary tract), Wed also use 0.4 grams every 12 hours. The duration of the course is from seven to ten days.

Nolicin ® 400 mg instructions for use contain information that in chronic, often recurrent UTIs, the duration of the drug can be up to 12 weeks. At the same time, the first four weeks take four hundred milligrams of wed-va every twelve hours, and then according to the 1st table. in a day.

For the treatment of acute, uncomplicated forms of gonorrhea, a single dose of two or three Nolicin ® tablets (from 800 to 1200 milligrams) is recommended. Also, if necessary, the drug can be taken according to the 1st table. twice a day for three to seven days.

In case of infectious inflammation of the organs of the reproductive system, it is recommended to take norfloxacin from four hundred to six hundred milligrams every 12 hours for 7 days.

Patients with gastroenteritis of the bacteriological nature should consume 0.4 grams twice a day for five days.

In order to prevent the development of travelers' diarrhea, take one tablet of Nolicin ® before departure and continue the course (one tablet per day) until the end of the trip (the total duration of antibiotic intake should not exceed three weeks).

Norfloxacin may be prescribed to patients with neutropenic conditions in order to prevent the development of septic complications. In this case, Nolicin ® is prescribed eight hundred mg per day, divided into 2 doses, for up to eight weeks.

In order to prevent exacerbations of UTI, the drug can be prescribed at a dose of two hundred milligrams, once a day, the duration of treatment is set by the attending physician and depends on the frequency of relapses. If necessary, the duration of the reception can be up to six months.

Correction of the prescribed dose in patients with kidney pathologies is carried out depending on creatinine clearance.

Nolicin ® - side effects and side effects

Undesirable effects from the use of Nolicin ® can be manifested by disorders of the gastrointestinal tract of a dyspeptic nature, bitterness in the mouth, abdominal pain, antibiotic-associated diarrhea, pseudomembranous colitis, dysbacteriosis, thrush.

Also, it is possible to increase the indicators of liver transaminases in a biochemical blood test. Low fluid intake may cause crystalluria. Glomerulonephritis while taking Nolicin ® develop extremely rarely.

A characteristic complication that develops during therapy with any fluoroquinolones is photosensitivity. In this regard, during the treatment period it is recommended to avoid insolation and use creams with a high level of SPF protection.

With prolonged use, inflammation of the tendons and their rupture is possible (most often the Achilles tendon is damaged).

Also, allergic reactions, cardiac arrhythmias, arterial hypotension, convulsions, tremors of the limbs, anxiety and insomnia are possible.

Nolicin ® and alcohol - compatibility

Antibacterial drugs of the fluoroquinolone series are categorically incompatible with alcohol. Such a combination can lead to severe depression of the nervous system, up to coma.

It should also be borne in mind that the drug is excreted mainly by the kidneys, so Nolicin ® and alcohol, when taken simultaneously, can cause severe intoxication associated with impaired utilization of their metabolic products.

In patients with kidney or nervous system disease, the combination of fluoroquinolones with alcohol increases the risk of seizures.

It should also be noted that the intake of alcoholic beverages completely negates the effectiveness of the antibiotic. Therefore, such a combination is dangerous not only for its side effects, but also because it makes taking an antibiotic absolutely useless. In view of this, the progression of the underlying infectious-inflammatory disease (against which Nolicin was prescribed) and the development of purulent complications are possible.

The combination of norfloxacin and alcohol can also lead to toxic hepatitis and increase the risk of pseudomembranous colitis.

Nolicin ® analogues

As cheaper analogues of Nolicin ® containing norfloxacin, it is possible to use:

  • Lokson-400 ® ;
  • Normaks ® ;
  • Norfloxacin ® (Vertek ® , Russia);
  • Norfloxacin ® (Obolenskoye FP ® , Russia).

Nolicin ® or Monural ® , which is better?

It is impossible to say unequivocally which drug is better. Before choosing an agent for the treatment of cystitis, many factors should be taken into account, such as the age of the patient, the presence of various contraindications, pregnancy, the frequency of relapses, the sensitivity of the pathogen, the severity of the disease, and the presence of complications.

The drug of choice for the treatment of uncomplicated cystitis is. This drug is unique in its kind, as the course of treatment is one -2 days. Monural is well tolerated by patients and practically does not cause side effects during and after treatment.

Also, Monural ® can be used to treat children from five years of age and pregnant women.

The advantage of Nolicin ® is that it can be used for long courses to prevent exacerbations.

It is necessary to exercise careful control over the amount of fluid consumed (strict control of diuresis).

With painful sensations in the tendons or the first symptoms of developing tendovaginitis, the drug should be discontinued as soon as possible. Throughout the entire period of therapy, heavy physical activity should be limited.

Antibiotic treatment can interfere with blood clotting, so there is a need to monitor blood platelet levels both during and after treatment.

During the entire course of treatment, it is worth avoiding direct sunlight as much as possible on the skin.

The antibiotic can reduce the psychomotor reaction and the level of concentration, so you should avoid dangerous activities in which you need to quickly respond to what is happening.

Cross-drug interactions

The combination of an antibacterial drug with toefilin, as well as cyclosporine, increases their plasma levels.

Against the background of the combined use of "Nolicin" with warfarin, the effect on the body of the latter begins to increase.

The combination of taking this antibiotic with antacids, preparations containing iron and zinc, as well as sucralfate helps to reduce the absorption of norfloxacin.

Against the background of the combined use of quinols, corticosteroid preparations, the likelihood of tendonitis and tendon ruptures increases.

The simultaneous method of taking gopoglycemic drugs provokes an increase in the hypoglycemic effect of the latter.

The combination of norfloxacin and nitrofurantoin reduces the therapeutic effect of both drugs.

According to statistics, every third woman at least once encounters the symptoms of cystitis, and only six men out of a thousand are aware of its existence. This disease can be both acute and chronic.

Uncomplicated cystitis: Cystitis can occur as an independent, isolated, uncomplicated disease when it is caused by microorganisms that are present in the human body: streptococcus, E. coli, staphylococcus aureus. When favorable conditions arise for the reproduction of these bacteria, the body cannot cope with them, with their reproduction in the bladder. E. coli causes cystitis in 95% of cases, the remaining 5% are caused by saprophytic staphylococcus and other microorganisms. The provoking factors contributing to the occurrence of such cystitis are hypovitaminosis, hypothermia, stress, poor hygiene, change of sexual partner, and a general decrease in immunity.

Complicated cystitis: However, cystitis can act in combination with gynecological inflammatory diseases, with latent infections - sexually transmitted diseases (mycoplasma, gonorrhea, trichomoniasis, etc.), with pyelonephritis, with urolithiasis, it can be a complication, chronic tonsillitis, tuberculosis. For example, patients with chlamydial urethritis often develop not only cystitis, but also pyelonephritis. And also sometimes cystitis accompanies, it happens with injuries, anomalies in the development of the urinary system.

The insidiousness of this disease lies in the fact that with an incomplete examination, in the absence of finding out the exact cause of cystitis in a woman, and inadequate treatment, it will become chronic, with constant relapses, exacerbations when provoking factors occur. If permanent, chronic, how can she figure out what caused it and how to effectively cure it? Only after consultation with a gynecologist, urologist, if necessary, with an infectious disease specialist, having undergone a thorough examination and comprehensive treatment.

Tablets from cystitis Nolicin:

Consider how expedient it is to use Nolicin for cystitis. The active ingredient in Nolicin is norfloxacin, an antibiotic of the 2nd generation of fluoroquinolones. It has a pronounced antimicrobial activity, since it is a broad-spectrum antimicrobial drug.

Fluoroquinolones of the 2nd generation have been approved for use since the 80s, and are distinguished by good pharmacokinetics, high bactericidal activity, which allows them to be used in the treatment of infections of various localization.

Taking into account the peculiarities of distribution in the body, absorption, metabolism and excretion, Nolicin is used exclusively for infections of the urinary system, intestinal infections and prostatitis. However, any strong antimicrobial drugs, as a rule, have a number of contraindications and a wide range of serious side effects.

There are a lot of positive reviews about the effective treatment with Nolicin for cystitis in women. This is natural, since most strains of microorganisms to fluoroquinolones have not yet developed resistance, and this is a very powerful antibiotic.

In chronic cystitis, when most traditional drugs do not give a positive effect for the treatment of cystitis, it is advisable to use fluoroquinolones: Abaktal - pefloxacin, Ciprolet - ciprofloxacin, Nolicin - norfloxacin and others. The ideal ratio of effectiveness and cost is Nolicin tablets for cystitis.
